 Guilty Gear Isuka
Let me begin by saying that this game has absolutly no plot whatsoever, and because of that they didn't feel the need to properly translate what little english there is. So you end up with things like "sward," "taxedo," and Dizzy getting called a "him."
But, after playing this game, one comes to the realization that these deficiencies are minor and that the game was made for one purpose and one purpose only: absolute fighting chaos. And it pulls this off extremely well. You simply don't know the true meaning of the word "panic" until engaging in a 4-player free-for-all and spending most of the time trying to figure out what the hell just happened. No amount of 1-on-1 practice from the previous games could ever prepare you for this new sort of fighting. It requires a strategy unto itself, not to mention the usage of a new "turn around" button. Especially when you do 2-on-2 or something of the sort. It's quite obvious that the creators leapt into this multiplayer fighting system with absolutly no clue what the rammifications might be of, say, Sol and Ky actually working together. Since all of the move sets are exactly the same as in GGX2, some incredibly devastating tag-team combos are in order. Seemingly to counter-balance this, though, instead of fights having rounds, there are now simply "Souls." Everytime a person's health bar empties, it's refilled at a cost of one of the team's Souls. So instead of a couple short rounds, you instead have one longass fight with no breaks or interruptions. And, quite frankly, I've been wanting a fighting game like that for quite some time. Leave it to GG to satisfy me.
Another noteable thing in the game is Boost Mode, which boils down to a brawler involving your chosen GG characters laying the smackdown on crowds of thugs through 5 levels. Extending off of this is Robo-Ky II Factory Mode. You're given a specialized version of Robo-Ky that is capable of gaining experience through Boost Mode, and then using that experience to upgrade stats and buy new moves and abilities, which are copies of moves and abilities belonging to other characters. Then, of course, you can use this RKII in versus mode, so two people can bust out their custom RKIIs and see who's better. And if that weren't enought customization, there's also a Color Edit mode, applicable to all characters. And, beleive me, if you mess with it just right, you can get some badass color schemes. Bronze Golem Potemkin, anyone?
So in conclusion, GG Isuka is a great fighting game in its own right. BUT, it's not exactly a replacement for GGX2. There are certainly nuances here and there that are completely different in the fighting system (such as Souls and the fact that your Boost and Tension meters fill up like crazy). So, one would definitly be switching back and forth between the two. If Isuka will have competition with another game, it would hopefully be Smash Bros. I can only wish...

 Engrish.com potential!
Heh heh heh. Darlos, you should take some screen shots of the messed up translation and send 'em in to Engrish.com.
Does Ino still take her clothes off when she wins? She is such a slut.

Yes. Yes she does. As a matter of fact, each character has been toned down to only one "intro" pose and one victory pose. And that one is hers.

And don't forget about the color customizations you can do on everyone! What fun. Darlos here has made a version of about 6 characters corresponding to fire, earth, wind, water, light, and darkness. I'm just happy with an Angelic Dizzy and an Evil Gothic Ky. Isuka's indeed awesome. Although, I wish if they were going to basically have no story they had just put in the manual "20 or so people decided to get together for no reason and beat the living shit out of each other." I've always wanted to have a fighting game that was honest like that.
