 The... Slowest... Fighting... Game... Ever...
Yeah, so I saw Dragon Ball GT Final Bout for about $15 in Walmart and I was like; Hrm... Something for Sol and I to play together when he visits me! I've heard it's bad, but I'm no good at fighting games so maybe it will match my fighting game feebleness...
Oy vey, that game should be worth way less than the $15... This game is so slow and so stupid it hurts. And for me to say it's slow is saying something. I who falls down holes that are not there and dies reguardless in video games, I who just mashes buttons in fighting games. If I have more than enough time to pull off special attacks, than this game would just piss off dedicated fighting gamers.
But the worst thing? They didn't even bother to get the American VA's that do the show to do the voice overs. It's damn near painful to listen to these idiots say the lines. They should have just left it all in Japanese honestly.
Oh well, you live you learn. But it is amazing that even I have found a game that's more inept than I am. Weird huh?

I have no idea how they managed to make something so awful.
Unfortunatly, until the game boy advance came along, DBZ games were synonimous with the word horrible. At leas tthe GBA titles add some story and gameplay. The RPG DBZ titles aren't that bad and are actually great to whittle away some time, and supersonic warriors has to be one of the best fighting games I've ever played as far as simplicity goes. There's enough innovation that you can be sneaky without being cheap, and enough simplicity that you can pull off the character's special moves from the tv show without having to learn a whole new move set for each character.
However, in short, and to quote my beloved gamespot.com's review of another game..."Final Bout is laughable at best."
